UX/UI Developer

About the role

HurryPay is looking for a product-focused UX/UI professional to design the journeys Saudi merchants use every day. The work spans compact payment-terminal screens and richer mobile or web interfaces, where speed, clarity, bilingual usability, and confidence during financial actions are essential.

What you will do

• Map and design merchant journeys for payment, receipt, refund, void, settlement, and end-of-day activities.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interface specifications.
• Design for both Arabic RTL and English LTR from the start, rather than adapting one language at the end.
• Make approved, pending, declined, interrupted, and recoverable transaction states unambiguous.
• Adapt interaction patterns to payment terminals, mobile devices, and merchant web interfaces.
• Develop reusable components and interaction guidance that keep HurryPay products consistent.
• Validate designs with product, engineering, operations, and realistic merchant scenarios.
• Where appropriate, contribute front-end prototypes or components that help carry the design accurately into the product.
• Support developers during implementation and review the finished experience for design quality.

What you bring

• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, interaction design, and polished UI work.
• Experience designing responsive digital products and structured user flows.
• A sound command of hierarchy, typography, accessibility, states, and component-based design.
• Working knowledge of responsive front-end fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and interaction behaviour.
• The ability to explain design decisions and collaborate closely with engineers.
• Professional English communication and practical experience designing bilingual or RTL interfaces.

Experience that will help

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, point of sale, or other high-trust products.
• Experience designing for constrained hardware, kiosks, handheld devices, or operational tools.
• User-research or usability-testing experience with business customers.

Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
